The teaching method used is historical analysis, which, combined with the productive-inductive method, builds general knowledge through the teaching of details, and interprets the history as a whole, taking into account all the factors that shape historical reality.
In addition, where deemed necessary, the indicative method based on projections will be used. Pedagogically, an attempt will be made to apply exploratory and collaborative learning. Students will work in groups, within which they can assume specific roles. The form of teaching will be dialectic with some use of narration to ensure the co-investigation of teacher – student. The teacher’s role will generally be that of a facilitator. The printed worksheet will be distributed to the students. The worksheet consists of six short activities and one interdisciplinary work, which will be presented at the end of chapter 8 of the textbook.
Using the WOW-HI platform and their historical knowledge, the pupils are asked to answer six questions about the life of the Greek population in Aidinio in the context of the wider events of the Asia Minor War.
With the interdisciplinary work, the students try to feel the horror of the war, as it is reflected in the fate of the prisoners.
